This does not resemble me - except that it seems to portray how I'm feeling. I've got myself in a difficult place and I just have to keep going through it. Waiting for it to pass but I fear the worst is yet to come. I've been taken completely by surprise this time and it's taken the wind out of my sails.
I can't remember much about the time I bought this postcard but I doubt whether the expression meant quite the same to me then as it does now.
