The village of Painswick in Gloucestershire is a real treat. In the heart of the Cotswolds it has winding lanes of adorable cottages but also grand stone houses. The church yard was a surprise!
There are supposed to be 99 of these clipped yew trees, but I didn't count.
Painswick is the home of Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen . At The Painswick Center you can see (and buy) their beautifully made ceramics, textiles, wood, basketry and jewellery. Members will also be showing at Montpellier Gardens, Cheltenham 18-30th Nov. & at Frogmarsh Mill 27-28th Nov.
