Strutting Chicken

Striding through the yard, feathers flying.
Again poor light a lousy colour.
Cutting a border into the terracotta clay enabled me to smooth edges and round off the corners a little.
I also like parts of the drawing falling into the border.

Gorgeous drawing, you have really captured a bad tempered chicken feeling, feathers flying. I love your fish too.

A storm of feathers in her furious wake. No sweetly clucking hen, this tumultuous fowl!

Ha! I love chickens when they are plump and content and making their old lady mumblings, but they are highly-strung creatures.
Thank you for your kind comments.
